With the school year well underway and the kids back into their routines, now is the time to schedule your own checkups and vaccines.

Your organization invests in your health so that you and your family can stay well, supported, and ready for what matters most. Preventive care like annual physicals and vaccines are typically covered at no cost to you, and we encourage you to take advantage of that benefit.

Most adults are due for routine vaccines, especially as we get older. Here’s a quick refresher:

• Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis): Every 10 years

• Shingles (Shingrix): 2 doses starting at age 50

• Pneumococcal: Once after age 65 (or sooner depending on risk factors)

• HPV: Up to age 45, if not fully vaccinated as a teen
